NEW MANAGEMENT!Grad Resources was started in 1990 as a division of Campus Crusade for Christ. The goal was to address the "quality of life issues" faced by all graduate students: Stress, Advisor Relationships, Time Management and the relevance of spirituality to the struggles of students. In an effort to provide resources to meet these needs there have been articles, seminars and a National Grad Crisis-Line (800-GRAD-HLP) created as a free service. However, even with assurances of "spiritual resources offered only to those who request this assistance," some individuals and administrators have balked at utilizing the Crisis-Line and other resources for fear that students will receive inappropriate or unwanted offers of religious help. Therefore, the Crisis-line was given to NMHA in February 2005 so that it may become more accessible to students in need (and currently 60 campuses promote the service to their students). Now, Grad Resources is becoming a fully independent "faith-based service" available to all graduate students. There will be no affiliation to any national or local religious organizations. We hope that this will make you and other students and administrators more comfortable in receiving the assistance of helpful articles and resources with NO STRINGS ATTACHED. Feel free to give us your comments by dropping an email. Be assured, we are here for you and other graduate students who struggle with the pursuit of their advanced degree.
