Welcome to UTD Graduate Christian Fellowship -- a safe place to explore issues about college, life, and what it might be like to know God. Glad you came.
This is not an official website of the University of Texas at Dallas.
Our mission is to address the needs of Graduate Students. We meet the personal needs through articles, seminars, and support groups and make ourselves available to meet the spiritual needs as grads express an interest.
Our goal is to provide a package of quality materials that address the various needs of graduate students, while aggressively encouraging them to consider the relevance of Christ in their lives.
It is an attractive vision to see secular grads given an opportunity to wrestle with life issues in a manner that is consistent with their academic interests. However, the primary vehicle for this message is the believing graduate student or professor modeling an exemplary life, a fully integrated personal faith and a high personal standard of academic excellence. Therefore, it is imperative that we do the job of gathering, equipping, and connecting these believing scholars with the secular seekers in meaningful dialog. Our desire is for students to be able to effectively consider the claims of Christ and reach a point of integrating their faith and discipline in a way that has an impact academically and individually for the cause of Christ.
In summary, we attempt to serve all graduate students, surfacing those students interested in engaging in meaningful dialog about Christian Worldview issues, and stimulating believing grads to become connected in a community, fully integrated in their faith and to connect with their peers in meaningful dialogue.
